Newscenter 88 and Sports Night Canceled for Feb. 18

Huntington, W.Va. (February 18, 2015) - Newscenter 88 and Sports Night will not air on Wednesday, February 18.

Temperataures Wednesday evening are expected to plummet into the single digits and below, likely refreezing any melting of the snow that fell Monday.

Newscenter 88 will return to the airwaves Thursday, February 19 at 5 p.m., and Sports Night will return next Wednesday at 6 p.m.

WMUL-FM is looking for staff members

Huntington, W.Va. (Feb. 10, 2015) - The award-winning student broadcast voice of Marshall University, WMUL-FM, is inviting interested students of all majors and community members to volunteer for the Spring 2015 semester.

Stream will be unavailable due to power outage

Huntington, W.Va. (December 22, 2014) - Due to a planned power outage for the Smith Hall and Communications Building complex, WMUL-FM's web-streams will be unavailable for approximately 24 hours beginning Monday afternoon. The interruption will start following the completion of the Marshall vs. Brescia Women's Basketball game and end approximately 2 P.M. Tuesday, December 23, 2014. WMUL-FM will continue to broadcast on-air.
