Marshall University Forensic Science Graduate Program

mufscbuildingForensic science is a rapidly evolving discipline, which applies a wide variety of scientific principles to enhance our legal system. The nationally accredited Marshall University Forensic Science Program (MUFSP) is a two-year academic program leading to a Master of Science in Forensic Science (MSFS). The MUFSP uniquely resides in the same facility and organization as the MU Forensic Science Center (MUFSC) ISO 17025-accredited DNA forensic and databasing laboratory.  The MUFSC DNA Laboratories serve as the Combined DNA Indexing System (CODIS) laboratory for the State of West Virginia.
