Majors must fulfill the general and specific requirements for the B.A. degree in the College of Liberal Arts.
The major in History requires a minimum of 36 credit hours of History.
The following courses are required of all History majors: HST 101, 102, 103, 200, 230, 231, and 400.
At least twelve credit hours in History must be in courses above the 200 level.
History majors must also take at least one course from each group of courses listed below.
United States History Courses:
HST 125, 250, 303, 305, 312, 323, 333, 342, 343, 347, 350, 360, 365, 404, 405, 407, 409, 411, 414, 423, 424, 433, 434, 440.
European History Courses:
HST 205, 206, 219, 220, 223, 304, 306 345, 406, 421, 425, 426, 428, 430.
World History Courses
HST 208, 260, 301, 302, 313, 361, 376, 378, 380, 423, 435, 436, 439, 442, 445, 446.
