Lecture Capture
From Wimba Live Classroom to Blackboard Collaborate
Since 2009, Live Classroom has been a feature in MUOnLine. In July 2010, Blackboard purchased Wimba and Elluminate, another competing web conferencing platform. Because of this merger, Blackboard has created a new set of tools called Collaborate. Blackboard Collaborate™ gives you the functionality you need in a 21st century teaching and learning environment, such as two-way audio, multi-point video, interactive whiteboard, application and desktop sharing, rich media, breakout rooms, and session recording. Educators and students can engage as if they were in a traditional classroom, with as good as, or even better, outcomes. To view demos of Collaborate, user guides, and best practices, pleaseview our migration website.

Camtasia Relay is also available for capturing everything that you are doing on your desktop, with audio. Multiple people can record meetings, training sessions, lectures and more with just 3 clicks. Once recorded, the files are automatically sent to the server and made available for viewing.
