Scott E. Perry, Pharm. D., B.C.P.S.
Assistant Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice
Dr. Perry received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The Ohio State University in 2007. He then completed a one-year pharmacy practice residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. He is also a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.
Dr. Perry began his professional career at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, OH where he established a decentralized pharmacy practice on the intermediate care and medical/surgical units. He then created a clinical pharmacy practice in the emergency department at Fort Hamilton where he practiced for 4 years prior to coming to Marshall. He is also the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist of Emergency Medicine at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV.
Dr. Perry is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. He has been the preceptor of many students and residents. He is a member of the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. He has lectured to pharmacists, medical residents, nurses, and paramedics.
