Dr. Winston was the valedictorian of her class when she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Science from the University of Toldeo in 2006. She went on to complete a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010; receiving her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the same institution in 2012. Winston has completed two pharmacy internships as well as gaining teaching and research experience while completing her degrees. She is a published author and has presented at multiple regional meetings.
Winston is an award-winning student – having received 10 scholarship awards and 8 honor awards. She is certified in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association and in Immunization Delivery from the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin. Additionally, Dr. Winston is a member of the Rho Chi Society, the Wisconsin Society of Pharmacy Students, and the AAPS Student Chapter. She is a past member of the Golden Key International Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society, and the Lambda Kappa Sigma Professional Pharmacy Fraternity.
