Position Title: Associate/Professor and Vice Chair of Pharmacy Practice and Administration, MUSOP, Department of Pharmacy Practice, Administration, and Research
Appointment: 12 month, tenure track position. Rank and salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience and length of service.

Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in pharmacy administration or related field or bachelor of pharmacy degree/PharmD with MBA or other terminal business degree as well as a minimum of 3 years teaching experience and research activities. Previous administrative experience preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be willing to provide service to the college/university, the community, and the profession.
Duties: This senior level position requires mentoring of junior faculty, establishing a culture of scholarly activity, teaching in a problem based/active learning environment and service. Responsibilities include faculty development of junior faculty; scholarly/research activity in the candidate’s area of expertise; both didactic teaching and hands on simulations of management practices in the business world with an emphasis on finance; academic advising of students; participation in ongoing curriculum development and assessment; and committee work at both the college and university level.
