Position Title: Clinical Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor with specialty in pediatrics (Department of Pharmacy Practice, Administration, and Research) –
Appointment: Full-time, non-tenure track position located at Cabell Huntington Hospital with specialization in pediatrics. Rank and Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications: PharmD degree, one year of residency training, preferred PGY2 pediatrics and a license to practice pharmacy in West Virginia. Previous academic or practice experience preferred. Board certification preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be willing to provide service to the college/university, the community, and the profession.
Duties: Provide patient-centered, evidence-based clinical pharmacy services to the pediatrics department including patient education, therapeutic drug monitoring educational in services, medication therapy consults, quality assurance activities (MUE, measures of clinical pharmacist’s impact on medication therapy, etc), establish a practice setting suitable for training doctor of Pharmacy students (both IPPEs and APPEs) as well as residents. Further responsibilities include both didactic teaching and hands on simulations; academic advising of students; participation in ongoing curriculum development and assessment; committee work at both the college and university level; and scholarly/research activity in the candidate’s area of expertise.
