This Wednesday students will get to experience the “Oppression Tunnel” at the Francis Booth Experimental Theatre at 5,6 and 7 p.m. The performance is sponsored by the Department of Housing and Residence Life. Students will experience all aspects of oppression in the everyday life of a college student. The reason behind the “Oppression Tunnel” is to give students a chance to look beyond hinderances of other students and become a more united student body.

Marshall students now have the opportunity to rent cars on campus. In conjunction with Enterprise Rent-A-Car and WeCar students have the keys to a white Nissan Altima Hybrid and a green Ford Fiesta at their fingertips. Student Body President Ray Harrell said this program will benefit the university. “I think that it is really going to benefit the students who live in the residence halls who don’t have vehicles or don’t want to have the expense of having a vehicle on campus.

Students can access the vehicles by simply giving a valid student ID number online. The cost is around 8 dollars per trip.
