HATS Students are selected by the following criteria:

~ Middle or high school student who attends a target school:

Wayne County Schools: Buffalo Middle, CK Middle, Crum Middle, Ft. Gay Middle,

HATS Jr/Sr Trip to Atlanta, GA

Spring Valley, Tolsia High, Wayne Middle, Wayne High

Mason County Schools: Hannan High School, Pt. Pleasant Jr/Sr High, Wahama High

~ Family income that meets federal guidelines (Dept. of Educ. website-based on taxable income)

~ First generation college student (neither parent completed a four-year college degree).
