On August 24, 2010 the League of Women Voters, Marshall University’s Women’s Studies Program, and Women Center hosted a parade honoring the 90^th Anniversary of the 19^th Amendment which allows women the right to vote.  Supporters gathered at Pullman Square in downtown Huntington for a welcome speech by Dr. Kat Williams and performance by the Sweet Adeline’s.  They then marched to Huntington’s courthouse for a continuum of the ceremony and festivities.
