Marshall University offers
classes throughout the year for Fall, Spring, and Summer sessions. Before
actually choosing your classes and creating
a schedule, you'll need to have the Undergraduate Catalog, and the Schedule
of Classes. Schedule of Classes are distributed serveral weeks in advance
of the upcoming term and list information about the classes like who
is teaching, where the class meets and the course reference number. When
preparing your schedule pay special attention to the requirements of
your major and the prerequisites for the classes. After getting your
schedule together, you'll need to fill out a registration form and take
the complete form the Registration window in the basement of Old Main.
There you're schedule will be entered into the system and you'll be told
of any problems.
MILO

MILO, Marshall Information Liasion Online, is a quick and easy way to
register for your classes either online. MILO also
provides
several other functions such checking for grades or printing a schedule.
To use MILO you'll need your social security number and a PIN number.
Your PIN is "initially" set to your date of birth represented
by a six-digit number (MMDDYY). For example, someone born February 5,
1956 would have the pin 020556. You can access MILO via myMU.
Bookstore

The Marshall University Bookstore, located adjacent to the Memorial Student
Center, has books, supplies, gifts and much more. Text books are listed
by course name and number so you may want to bring your schedule along
when shopping. Also its best to buy your books early so you can pick
up the cheaper used editions. Keep your receipt and don't mark in your
books until you're sure you're going to stay in the class.
