The Marching Thunder's production show featured music with a Spanish flavor. With exciting visuals and powerful sounds, the Marching Thunder portrayed the passionate land of fiestas, bullfights, and matadors. In the opening number, "El Toro Caliente," the Marching Thunder introduced the sights and sounds of the bullfight. After the intense "El Toro," it was time to kick back into the mellow sounds of "Midnight Over Miami." When the siesta ended, the fiesta begun! There was a party on the field while the Marching Thunder percussion section was featured in "Hot! Hot! Hot!" Finally they returned to the triumph of the matador in the fiery "Malaga!"

As the football team prepares to enter the MAC, the Marching Thunder continues to prepare for next season. Plans are being made for the Marching Thunder to perform at the WVU and Army games. Also, the Marching Thunder has been chosen to be the host/exhibition band at the Bands of America Grand National Championship in Indianapolis, Indiana. As you can see, the Marching Thunder will be quite busy in the upcoming season.
