Putting "U" Back in Campus Entertainment

By: Christina Sinnett

Campus Entertainment Unlimited (CEU) is made up of a group of students who organize and book entertainment. The entertainment is free to all Marshall students. Some of our events this year were: the Fair, "Spin Art Frisbee," Movies, Comedienne Becky Blaney, "You Laugh You Lose", Comedian Taylor Mason, Photo Key Chains, "Sumo Wrestling", "Blizzard of Bucks," and musical group Regency.

We also sponsored such events as "Dry Thursday" by booking Photo Key Chains, showing "Willie Wanka and the Chocolate Factory" in the Student Center, and having a dance in Marco's afterwards. For Homecoming we brought groups in to do "Fun Flicks and Fun Photos", Master Card Acts (Marshall student talent competition), co-sponsored the Black Comedy Tour, and put on a huge "Video Dance Party."
