Phi Theta Kappa

International Honorary

Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society for two-year college students. In order to qualify for membership, candidates must be enrolled in the Marshall Community and Technical college, have completed a total of 12 hours of coursework appropriate to the associate degree, and have a 3.3 GPA.

Membership in Phi Theta Kappa carries several advantages for two year college students. Phi Theta Kappa not only offers leadership opportunities but also the chance to build a special sense of community among members and faculty advisors.

Our current officers include Jane Norris as president, Christina Baldwin as vice-president, Marsha Shepard as treasurer, and Susan Haggard as secretary. New inductees are as follows:

Christine Baldwin, Cynthia Jordan, Linda Mega, Jeannie Megahan, Patricia Daniels,

Lisa Lewis, Crystal Marcum, Sam Williams, Annette Adams, Lana Fairchild, Scott Wood, Kimberly Burdette, Melissa White, Vicki Hoover.

Faculty advisors are Ann Marie Chapman (696-5222) and Betty Dennison (696-2665).
