This year's Founders Day formal was held on April 4 at the majestic Grandview Inn, located in beautiful and historic South Point,Ohio

Lambda Chi also prides itself on their community service and fund raisers. In past years, the "Chops" have donated their time to the Scott Community Center and the American Red Cross Flood Relief Programs. This year, various brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha spent a weekend bagging groceries, assisting customers, and giving a helping hand at Tower FoodFair for a very successful fundraiser.

In sports, the Lambda Chi #1 team brought home the second place trophy at the annual Sigma Phi Epsilon basketball tournament- The Backyard Brawl. Team members were Scott Moren, Matt Holbrook, and James Mooney.

In Greek Week, the Lambda Chi chapter finished a strong third with enthusiastic participation in all events. Overall, Lambda Chi is very proud of their recent accomplishments and is looking forward to the next few years.

Scott Moren, Jamestown, New York senior and fraternity member said, "Of my many years here at Marshall, this has been my most exciting and eventful, especially because of all of the enriching and rewarding activities to which my fraternity has introduced me."

Dave Felinton, Baltimore, Maryland junior remarked, "This year, ahhhh, I, ahhhh found my place at Marshall and I feel like my fraternity brothers are my special college family."

Dorion Liston, Saline, Michigan sophomore added, "I almost hate to study abroad next semester because I don't want to miss the great strides forward that Lambda Chi is taking on Marshall's campus. I think our dedication to excellence in academics and multicultural programming are very typical of Lambda Chi and to the enhancement of Marshall's academic community."
