Another large annual project is the memorial plane crash anniversary, in which SGA orchestrates the Memorial Service for the 1970 plane crash, when the whole football team, coaches, staff, reporters and supporters, all vanished from our lives.
One of the campaign promises of the Shora administration
was to add more selections to the food court in the student center. We organized
a campus wide survey to find out what restaurants 
students
wanted, the top two vote getters were Chic-fil-a and Taco Bell, in early
1997 Chic Fil-A opened for business.
