Celebrating the Diversity of Women
The Women's Studies Student Association sponsored an evening, Feb. 23, devoted to the diversity of women.

Everyone was welcomed by Bethany Cooper and the first Read-in Session followed.

Angela Conner, Maura Conway, Molly Basset, Kate Johnson and Linda Trollinger participated in the first session.

After the readings, there was a showing of the film Lakota Woman. This story is one of death, determination against all odds and the cruelties perpetrated against American Indians during the last several decades. It is also an account of a woman's triumphant struggle to survive in a hostile world.

Next, there was a second Read-in Session. Bethany Cooper, Dr. Amy Hudock, Shannon Dean, Sumeeta Patnaik, Roxanne Smith and Dana Kinzy participated.

Bethany Cooper then gave the closing.
