New things to look for on campus!
Every year Marshall expands its campus to new horizons. New things are constantly added to the campus to guarantee students that Marshall is advancing and leading the way into the new millennium. During the 1999-2000 school year there were six projects done to better Marshall's campus.

The Jomie Jazz Center is a new addition to the Fine and Performing Arts Building across from the Memorial Student Center.

The Veterans' Memorial is located outside of Jenkins Hall. It honors the graduates and students who served with the armed forces of their country at war.

The memorial for ones who lost their lives in the air tragedy, November 14, 1970, is located inside the Memorial Student Center. Along with a picture of the team, there is also a plaque dedicating the building in loving memory. Another plaque beside the picture states, "They shall live on in the hearts of their families and friends forever and this memorial records their loss to the University and to the Community."

Behind the Student Center an amphitheater has been added to the plaza. This new feature allows groups on campus to perform for the student body.

The John Marshall statue was added outside the new John Deaver Drinko Library. It stands tall with a good view of Old Main in the background.

The John Deaver Drinko Library was added to Marshall's campus to provide students with the best technology available.
