Welcome to “The Invasion,” Marshall University’s 1999-2000 edition of the Online Yearbook. The following pages invite you into the world of college life and experiences. I hope that this yearbook will share some of the great moments Marshall has experienced and also give you a taste of what life is like here at Marshall.

Marshall began producing Online Yearbooks in 1997, and is proud to be leading the way into the new millennium. A group of volunteers work very hard on this yearbook by taking pictures and writing stories about events on campus. Unfortunately, we don’t have someone to cover everything on campus so I apologize if there is something specific you can’t find.

I would like to encourage anyone interested in helping with next year’s edition of the yearbook. We are willing to cover anything that happens on campus and are open to any new ideas. This yearbook is for the students, so we want to make sure it has everything the student population could want.

Take your time looking through some of the highlights of the last year. I am very excited that we have an online yearbook to share moments with students and people all over the world. This will be a constant record of what Marshall University was like at the beginning of a new time in history.
