DRY THURSDAY

Do students need to drink to have fun and really enjoy themselves? Not if you are a student at Marshall University and especially not during "Dry Thursday". Dry Thursday is the day when Marshall students gather together for an evening of alcohol-free fun.

Student Health Education Programs along with Student Activities, Greek Affairs and the Athletic Department offered activities such as a softball tournament, lazer tag, a sorority dance-a-thon, a trivia pursuit competition, and photo key chain production. The highlight of the evening was a totally interactive showing of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" in Marco's. And that was just a sampling of all the campus events.

T-shirts were given away along with a multitude of other prizes for participating and a lot of students said they did not feel the need to drink to have a fun during the evening.

So, where is THE place to be on a cool Thursday evening? Why not try focusing on your own exciting campus.
