Medical School & Health Services:Soon to Leave Campus to Merge at Cabell-Huntington | ||||||||||

When students return to Marshall's campus in the Fall there will be a noticeable landmark missing, the Doctor's Memorial building and Student Health Services. Work on the Marshall Medical Center is expected to be complete in late July or early August. The Marshall University Student Health Services will move to the new facility also located at Cabell-Huntington Hospital.
The Doctor's Memorial Building has a rich history. The Doctor's Memorial Building was opened in 1978 and memorialized the 3 physicians who died with the football team in the 1970 plane crash. The building once vacated is to be torn down to make space for new apartment buildings. | |||||||||
