Welcome to Marshall University:

New Student Orientation Kicks Off the Fall Semester!

"Welcome to Marshall University!" Those are the first few words many incoming freshmen hear when they walk on campus. For some of these freshman and transfer students, this will be the first time they actually tour the university they have decided to call home for the next four years.

The orientation staff help guide students through freshman focused programs. They answer every question a new student might possibly need to have clarified. Campus guided tours are given culminating with the highlight of every freshman's first year at Marshall University, student class registration.

Marshall University faculty and staff administrators also lead workshops specially designed for parents of the newly registered Marshall students.

Welcome to Marshall new freshman or transfer student! We are glad you have decided to call us "home" for the next few years.
