Registering the Old Way
|
It is nearing the end of the semester and as a student, you have almost made your way to the end of a grueling semester of classes. You successfully passed your midterms, written almost all of your research papers, and have finished reviewing your very last presentation for the semester. But, do not pack up your books just yet. You still need to register for next semester's classes.
Don't worry, it will not take you long. And unlike days in the past, it will not be very difficult. The hardest part will be deciding in which manner you want to register.
Students at Marshall University have a variety of methods to choose from to register. Students can still choose the old fashion way of registering for classes. Some students like to write out their own schedules and stand in line in the basement of Old Main and receive an official copy of their classes directly from the Registrar's Office.
Do not want to wait in line in the basement of Old Main? Then you can use MILO (Marshall Information Liaison Online) which has revolutionized the way in which students register for classes at the university. You still have to get your schedule selected in advance, but just telephone MILO and you can register for your classes over the phone. Don't worry about not getting an official print out of your schedule. You can go to the Registrar's window later, at your own convience, and get a copy printed. You can also receive a printed copy of a class schedule from any one of the centrally located KIOSKS on campus or from the Marshall website.
Don't end up in line at the start of next semester because you forgot to register for classes today!
