Residence Hall Living:

A Step Above the Rest?

Who said that living in the Residence Halls could not be fun? If you think that life is not fun, then you have not been in the residence halls at Marshall for a while.

Marshall University currently maintains and operated six residence halls on the campus; Twin Towers West, Twin Towers East, Holderby Hall, Buskirk Hall, Hodges Hall, and Laidley Hall.

Residence halls are not only places where students come to eat and sleep. Excitement has been stirring among students since word of the new Euro-kitchens, which should be installed in Twin Towers West and East by Fall, has been released. The current menu will be expanded

and students will be given a wider selection of menus.

Speakers and presentations are almost a nightly occurrence in the residence halls. Want to hear about what are the best foods to eat, how to exercise or debate topics of varying interests maybe students should check some of these programs out.

Residence hall students have their own computer lounges and access to the internet and other Marshall technology.

Next to the classroom, the residence halls are the second most likely place where friendships are formed which will last for a lifetime.
