Medline
verticle line The purpose and design of the Old Scout Health Web Site has not changed much since it was first written in 1994. It has served as the Web site for two academic health science libraries from its inception until late in 2001. Its primary purpose is to provide a convenient means of finding the most informative Web sites in the Health Sciences. Users will find abundant navigation links to pages at the site and annotations that help them decide if a Web resource will match their needs. The only major change in format since the beginning was the introduction of tables in the html coding in 1996. Some of the pages that are peripheral to the health sciences are outdated, but the core topics are currently maintained. The author uses the Old Scout Web pages everyday in his work as a reference librarian. Perhaps, others will find them useful too.

The Journal Page

consolidates links to sites which have online access to full-text journals. It also refers to journal lists and resources for journal bibliographic information.
