How to Save a Search Strategy in PubMed
- Open PubMed and enter a search using only ONE search statement. Apply limits before entering the search statement. Click on GO. and Check for satisfactory retreival.
- While viewing retrieval, click on the Details Button and check for errors in your search strategy. Edit errors on detail page and click on the Search Button or clear search and start over.
- When strategy is error free, click the URL Button.
- Click on Favorites or Bookmarks of your browser and save the current URL.
How to Activate a Saved Search Strategy in PubMed
- Click on Favorite or Bookmark entry. PubMed will show the retrieved results.
