1. Heiner’s Bakery: (Adam’s Avenue) Huntington, WV

What They’re Contributing: Brown and serve rolls.

About Heiner’s: Heiner’s Bakery specializes in producing fresh bread, rolls, and buns directly from the area of Huntington. They focus on using the finest ingredients, and work under the philosophy that the product should “speak for itself.” One of the high-quality ingredients that is found in every one of their products is called spring wheat flour. This is a product shipped from the Northwest, but the entire baking process is done in the factories. Here they mix, ferment, bake, and cool their breads to produce the freshest product. The breads vary greatly with different types of grains, seasonings, and textures. What once started as a wife and husband opening their first business of homemade baked goods, has now spread serving four different states, but started right here in Huntington.
