Marshall University, located in Huntington, West Virginia, is proud to partner with the South Central Ohio Educational Service Center (SCOESC) to bring a series of engaging and informative opportunities to Juniors and Seniors from Adams, Jackson, and Scioto Counties. Committed to the educational success of each student, the Divisions of Academic and Student Affairs will host a series of student programs, both at the SCOESC in Portsmouth, Ohio, and on the campus of Marshall University.

Students will attend sessions on student financial assistance, the college experience, and career education. Also, students will have the opportunity to speak to academic and student support office staff and complete a FREE Marshall University Application.
PARENT & FAMILY NIGHT AT SCOESC
October 4, 2018
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Parents and families are encouraged to attend the Parent & Family Night session from 5:30 – 7:00 PM. Mrs. Sandra Mers, Superintendent of the SCOESC, will moderate a panel discussion hosted by University administrators and staff on topics that include the admissions process, student financial assistance, housing, and MUCH MORE!
Students who attend with their parents and families and remain at the event until 7:00 PM will have the opportunity to win an Apple iPad or an Apple Watch! Must be present to win.

All Juniors and Seniors from Adams, Jackson, and Scioto Counties in Ohio are invited to ride your school’s bus to the campus of Marshall University. Upon arrival, student’s will be escorted on a campus tour, receive a free boxed lunch, and attend a college fair in the Campus Rec Center. At the fair, students will have the opportunity to explore various majors and minors from all participating colleges and explore career pathways.

Join Marshall University as we host a special tailgate for ALL Juniors, Seniors, and Parents from Adams, Jackson, and Scioto Counties in Ohio. Each student attending from these three Ohio counties will receive THREE FREE TICKETS to the game against Charlotte!
Free tickets are provided for the student, and two parents/adult guardians only.
