Are you a student who is pursuing a degree at another college or university, but you would like to take classes at Marshall University? If so, you can apply to be a transient student at Marshall. If you are in an undergraduate degree program at another college or university, you can apply to Marshall for up to two consecutive semesters as a transient or visiting student.

Review Admission Requirements and Apply

Applying for admission as a transient student to Marshall University is simple. Below are all the steps you need to complete our undergraduate admission process to apply and be admitted as an undergraduate transient student.

Please note: As a transient student, you must submit an application to the Office of Admissions for each term in which you wish to enroll. You’ll also need to ask the registrar at your home college to send Marshall University a letter confirming your good academic standing for each term in which you wish to enroll.
