Lewis College of Business<\/a>
\nThe mission of the COB is to be a leading state institution for the education of business students, and a contributor to the region’s economic development. The college is committed to an overall balance among teaching, scholarly activity, and service. The COB is dedicated to graduating individuals who possess the communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills necessary to meet the Tri-State area’s needs for the demands of the global marketplace.<\/p>\n

College of Education and Professional Development<\/a>
\nThe College of Education and Professional Development continues to prepare teachers and other professional educators, including counselors, principals, supervisors, and superintendents. It also provides continuing education opportunities for professional educators. All teacher education programs at Marshall University are under the direction of the College of Education and Professional Development.<\/p>\n

College of Engineering and Computer Sciences<\/a>
\nCECS builds on combined traditions of student-focused education, entrepreneurship and funded research and service emphasis. CECS provides education when and where needed, incorporating technology-enhanced methods, by full-time, dedicated faculty complemented by expert adjunct faculty from industry and government.<\/p>\n

College of Health Professions<\/a>
\nThe College of Health Professions (COHP) is committed to offering quality undergraduate and graduate nursing and health professions education. The focus of the College of Health Professions is upon being interactive with the community, including rural and underserved areas, and responding to contemporary and future needs of society, nursing, and the health professions.<\/p>\n

College of Liberal Arts<\/a>
\nThe College of Liberal Arts is committed to excellence in higher education. College of Science<\/a>
\nScientific and technologically trained people are essential to our nation’s health and prosperity in a rapidly expanding global economy. Students majoring in baccalaureate degree programs in the College of Science receive a broad education conducive to pursuing a wide range of career options. Special emphasis is placed on experiential learning through participation in activities such as undergraduate research and internships.<\/p>\n

Honors College<\/a>
\nThe Honors College at Marshall University fosters academic excellence in a community of learners whose undergraduate education is enhanced through innovative teaching and learning, an engaging interdisciplinary curriculum, creative and critical inquiry with talented faculty and diverse leadership and special opportunities.<\/p>\n

University College<\/a>
\nUniversity College provides academic support services to students to be successful throughout their college experience. University College offers students a solid foundation of academic skills for the advancement into another Marshall University college for graduation. University College is dedicated to providing professional academic advice, understanding and practicing diversity, operating under high ethical standards, ensuring privacy of students, creating an environment for freedom of expression and encouraging student involvement in their own educational process.<\/p>\n

Division of Aviation<\/a>
\nMarshall University made a strategic move into aviation. In Fall 2021, the Commercial Pilot: Fixed-Wing, B.S.<\/a> program opened. This program has been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a Part 141 pilot school. The Aviation Maintenance, A.A.S.<\/a> program opened as an FAA Part 147 program in Fall 2022. This is an 18-month dual degree with Mountwest Community and Technical College. Through these programs, Marshall is training the pilots and technicians for tomorrow. Job prospects are exceptional, with thousands of openings projected in the next decade.<\/p>\n

Regents Bachelor of Arts (R.B.A.)<\/a>
\nThe Regents Bachelor of Arts (R.B.A.) is a non-traditional, interdisciplinary degree option designed to help adult students just like you earn a bachelor\u2019s degree. The R.B.A. degree meets the needs of a working adult, as the program is offered online, is cost-effective and allows the student to tailor the degree to his or her interests.<\/p>\n

Graduate Studies<\/a>
\nAt Marshall University, you can move to the next level in your career by completing one of our top-quality programs, guided by our talented and dedicated graduate faculty. We offer more than 55\u00a0accredited graduate degree programs<\/a> and over 35 graduate certificate programs at locations throughout the state of West Virginia and online worldwide. Marshall serves more than 3,000 graduate students annually\u2014more than 25 percent of our total student body.<\/p>\n

Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine<\/a>
\nEstablished in 1976, the School of Medicine quickly developed a reputation for providing students with a high quality, hand-on medical education delivered in an atmosphere of caring and respect. Since that time, the school has also dramatically expanded its scope of research and clinical services, giving students an energized learning environment in which to become physicians. With three new educational facilities, two new clinical departments and more progress on the horizon, the school continues to expand opportunities for students.<\/p>\n

School of Pharmacy<\/a>
\nThe Marshall University School of Pharmacy strives to educate compassionate, ethical and competent students to become innovative thinkers, problem solvers and the future leaders of our profession.
