#WVSolutions Seekers Student Leadership Conference
\n<\/strong>An annual statewide student leadership conference, which connects rising leaders in 11th and 12th grades as well as college and training students. The goal of this conference is to identify a cohort of young leaders who can inspire service, leadership and innovation in other young West Virginians, thus encouraging our state’s brightest to invest their time and talent here at home. This day-long event is packed full of trainings, self-care workshops, giveaways and lessons from established West Virginia business, community and government leaders. The Alliance’s partners for this conference include: West Virginia Department of Education, West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, RCBI and Coalfield Development.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n \n

Southern WV Small Business Leaders Survey Snapshots<\/strong>
\nThrough nine regional Chambers of Commerce and two county EDA offices, West Virginia business leaders were invited to participate in the Alliance for the Economic Development of Southern West Virginia\u2019s first industry survey entitled Southern West Virginia Business Leaders. This survey was designed to gage the current issues of small businesses in southern West Virginia and identify potential opportunities for growth.<\/p>\n
