The ODK Circle was established as a permanent gathering space associated with the organization’s mission of recognizing leadership and achievement.

Because of its symbolic connection to the honor society, the circle became a natural location for ODK induction ceremonies. Generations of students gathered within the circular space to celebrate academic achievement, leadership, and service to the university community.

Historic photographs show induction ceremonies taking place at the site, reinforcing its role as both a physical landmark and a place of institutional tradition.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-363" src="https://www.marshall.edu/wp-content/uploads/sites/870/2026/09/odk-circle-dedication.jpg" alt="Historic black-and-white photograph of an Omicron Delta Kappa induction ceremony at the ODK Circle near Old Main.
