On September 18, 2014, the School of Art & Design opened a beautiful 2,200-square-foot gallery on the first floor of the\u00a0Visual Arts Center<\/a>\u00a0amid a flurry of excitement.\u00a0 The opening of the gallery was part of a community open house celebrating the opening of the Visual Arts Center. The inaugural exhibition,\u00a0We ART Marshall,\u00a0<\/em>featured artwork by students, faculty, and alumni of Marshall University.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Visual Arts Center Gallery was renamed in February of 2016 for Charles W. and Norma C. Carroll.\u00a0\u00a0Charles and Norm<\/a>a Carroll<\/a>\u00a0are Marshall University graduates who have given back in an extraordinary way.\u00a0 The Carrolls\u2019 generous support of the School of Art & Design and Marshall University has made a difference in the lives of countless students.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Today the Charles W. and Norma C. Carroll Gallery hosts a full program of exhibitions by Marshall Students, Faculty, and professional artists from across the country and even across the world including senior Capstone exhibitions and the popular\u00a0Annual National Juried Exhibition.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Charles W. and Norma C. Carroll Gallery is located at 927 3rd Avenue inside the Visual Arts Center.<\/p>\n
