Carroll Gallery<\/a><\/p>\n<p>October 5 &#8211; 23, 2020<\/p>\n<p>The public is invited to a virtual reception on Thursday, October 15, at 5:30pm<\/p>\n<p>The result of several months worth of work, <em>Maximum Capacity<\/em> is an exhibition of 11 artists&#8217; work, guided by Sandra Reed and in direct conversation with artist Craig Drennen.\u00a0 When this exhibition was planned, it was supposed to take place in a storefront in Huntington, West Virginia in the Spring of 2020.\u00a0 Due to the COVID-19 virus, this group of artists made an abrupt change of plans.\u00a0 The exhibition was re-conceived as &#8220;Minimum Capacity&#8221; wherein the artists&#8217; work was condensed into a series of pdf documents and published as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/art-galleries\/files\/2020\/09\/Zine_MinimumCapacity_2020-1.pdf\">zine. <\/a>\u00a0With the assistance of Craig Drennan, the artists mounted <em>Minumum Capacity<\/em> in a small gallery in Atlanta, Georgia.\u00a0 The exhibition consisted of 18&#8243; x 24&#8243; photocopies of the pages of the zine.\u00a0 A virtual reception was held at the time.\u00a0 The artists decided to hold &#8220;Maximum Capacity&#8221; as originally planned as soon as they possibly could.<\/p>\n<p>In its current form, this exhibition of <em>Maximum Capacity<\/em> is the realization of a journey begun what feels like much longer than months ago.<\/p>\n<h2>Artists of Maximum Capacity<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/art-galleries\/exhibitions\/2020-2021-in-the-charles-w-and-norma-c-carroll-gallery\/maximum-capacity\/bree-black\/\">Bree Black<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/art-galleries\/exhibitions\/2020-2021-in-the-charles-w-and-norma-c-carroll-gallery\/maximum-capacity\/sophia-celdran\/\">Sophia Celdran<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/art-galleries\/exhibitions\/2020-2021-in-the-charles-w-and-norma-c-carroll-gallery\/maximum-capacity\/peyton-dolin\/\">Peyton Dolin<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/art-galleries\/exhibitions\/2020-2021-in-the-charles-w-and-norma-c-carroll-gallery\/maximum-capacity\/raigan-hagerman\/\">Raigan Hagerman<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/art-galleries\/exhibitions\/2020-2021-in-the-charles-w-and-norma-c-carroll-gallery\/maximum-capacity\/zhuning-huang\/\">Zhuning Huang<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/art-galleries\/exhibitions\/2020-2021-in-the-charles-w-and-norma-c-carroll-gallery\/maximum-capacity\/savannah-julian\/\">Savannah Julian<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/art-galleries\/exhibitions\/2020-2021-in-the-charles-w-and-norma-c-carroll-gallery\/maximum-capacity\/zane-pinson\/\">Zane Pinson<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/art-galleries\/exhibitions\/2020-2021-in-the-charles-w-and-norma-c-carroll-gallery\/maximum-capacity\/sa-rai-robinette\/\">Sa-Rai Robinette<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/art-galleries\/exhibitions\/2020-2021-in-the-charles-w-and-norma-c-carroll-gallery\/maximum-capacity\/alex-simental\/\">S.
