Students may apply<\/a> any time – classes start both Fall and Spring semesters.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

What are the admission requirements for the Professional Pilot, B.S., 4-year degree program?<\/span><\/svg><\/span><\/button>
\nAll applicants to this program must meet Marshall University’s general freshman or transfer student admissions requirements at\u00a0 https:\/\/www.marshall.edu\/admissions\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Marshall requires all flight students have at least a Second Class Medical when starting the flight program.\u00a0However, we recommend students get a First Class Medical prior to flight training to make sure they do not have any medical conditions that could disqualify them from flying with airlines.\u00a0Medicals MUST be done by an FAA Aviation Medical Examiner (AME).

How do I get an FAA Medical Certificate?<\/span><\/svg><\/span><\/button>
<\/p>\n

The FAA requires commercial pilots hold a Class 1 medical certificate. Therefore Marshall Aviation requires the Class 1 certificate as a condition for admission.<\/p>\n
