This year Marshall is going to invite two high school ensembles to perform in a special concert as part of the 2016 Marshall Honor Band.<\/p>\n

The event will take place February 4-6, 2016 and the selected ensembles will perform for the honor band participants on Friday, February 5th at 3pm.<\/p>\n

To apply you must<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Download the application<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Submit the application along with a CD containing a recording of your ensemble\n
      \n
    1. The recording should be made after January 2015<\/li>\n
    2. Include two pieces of contrasting style<\/li>\n
    3. Label the CD with the name of the school and the title of the two selections<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    4. Include at least 2 programs from your concerts within the past 2 years<\/li>\n
    5. Mail all materials by June 1, 2015<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      The selection process will\u00a0include a\u00a0panel of Marshall faculty. \u00a0The selection will be done in a blind listening session where panel will not know which school is playing. \u00a0Applicants will be notified by June 8th.<\/p>\n
