The University does not refund tuition and fees for individual classes dropped after the late registration\/schedule adjustment period ends.\u00a0 The student will be eligible for a refund for dropped courses in parts of the term that have not started.\u00a0 Changes in registration can affect eligibility for financial aid.<\/p>\n<h2>Withdrawing from Marshall University<\/h2>\n<p>Tuition refunds for students who officially withdrawal through the Registrar\u2019s office will be made according to the following schedule for complete withdrawals only. Marshall University will determine how much Title IV aid a student has received and not earned at the time of total withdrawal. The amount of aid earned is calculated on a prorated basis through 60% of the payment period..<\/p>\n<h2>Students Receiving Military Tuition Assistance (TA)<\/h2>\n<p>The Department of Defense requires the university to return any unearned Military Tuition Assistance (TA) funds to the Department should a service member withdraw from a course that was paid for using TA.
