Beth Waugh, M.S.

Senior Career Counselor

“I love working with and assisting students as they progress throughout their collegiate career.  I equally enjoy working with faculty and staff to find the best resources for students on their career path.”

Before joining Marshall University’s Career Services, Beth was an English professor for ten years.  She brings that love of writing and counseling students to Marshall.  As a career counselor, Beth assists students in their job preparation by conducting mock interviews and reviewing resumes, cover letters, and reference pages.  For those students going to graduate school, she also helps review personal statements and school applications.  For faculty and student organizations, she is always happy to visit the classroom to give a presentation of our services.
