Registration and posting jobs are always free. We have over 2000 employers, both national and international, and over 7000 students\/alumni registered to use Handshake in their search for part-time, full-time, and internship positions.<\/p>\n<p>Registration can be completed simply and quickly using the instructions below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions for New Employer Accounts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To access Handshake, a user account is required.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"e121c44c94a9ef1af39863651353db690\">If you have received an invitation from Marshall University, you can create an account by clicking the link provided in the invitation email.<\/li>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"eb95e766f313b5baf18fad7d465c48369\">If you haven&#8217;t received an invitation, you can register at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/app.joinhandshake.com\/employer_registrations\/new\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/app.joinhandshake.com\/employer_registrations\/new<\/a>.\n<ul>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"e968820c880374b06b851d05a9861e005\"><em>Learn how to\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/support.joinhandshake.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/219133047\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Create an Employer User Account, Join a Company, and Connect with Schools<\/em><\/a><em>.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p>After confirming your email, you\u2019ll be prompted to search for your company on Handshake. You can either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"ea0dd3e4d8ed710347728ac7d3c869f24\">Request to join your company\u2019s existing profile, or<\/li>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"e484b9aee0040e4d0a4c9a00008d33081\">Create a new company profile if your company is not already on Handshake.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If your company is already on Handshake, it will appear as an option to select. If it does not appear, you will have the opportunity to create a new profile.\u00a0<em>Learn\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/support.joinhandshake.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/219133057\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>How to Create a New Company Profile<\/em><\/a><em>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tips<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"efc5604715f04582ce4601d1c41995d02\"><strong>Use your corporate email address if you have one.<\/strong>\u00a0This will not only ensure that your company profile displays as an option to connect with if the company is on Handshake, but it can expedite the approval process.<\/li>\n<li data-list-item-id=\"eacc1c58d5fbf734d58ec8f4d0ba16548\"><strong>Request to join your company rather than a school you want to recruit from<\/strong>.\u00a0<em>On-campus employers are the exception to this rule<\/em>. Example: if you want to recruit from Marshall, don&#8217;t select Marshall as your company.
