Across West Virginia, communities face significant challenges \u2013 from abandoned properties and sites needing cleanup to the threat of flooding. The Center for Environmental, Geotechnical and Applied Sciences (CEGAS) and the WV Brownfields Assistance Center (BAC) at Marshall University are on the ground, partnering with local leaders and residents to address these issues and build a brighter future.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re focused on transforming neglected spaces into community assets, protecting communities from natural disasters, and creating opportunities for economic growth.
