Welcome to the Weisberg Division of Computer Science at the College of Information Technology and Engineering.
With recent rapid advances in computing and computer technology, computers are integrated with every aspect of our lives and Computer Science has become one of the most exciting and dynamic areas.
The Weisberg Division of Computer Science offers B.S. and M.S. degree in Computer Science and M.S. degree in Information Systems.
The BS and the MS degree programs provides an up-to-date curriculum stressing both theory and practice in the computer science area. Students gain knowledge of various Computer Science fields and build expertise with excellent technical skills and strong analytical skills well-qualified for a high-paying career in a field in which an unprecedented demand exists. Graduates of the programs will contribute to West Virginia’s economic development, advance its competitive edge globally and contribute to improvement in the quality of people’s life.
Our dedicated faculty with strong academic and industrial experience will spend extra time with students in and out of the classroom to support students in their academic and personal growth. Faculty guide students to hone technical and research skills, as well as communication and leadership skills. In addition, students will have ample opportunities for research and industry experience through research projects and internships.
