Marshall\u2019s MBA Online program is designed for those students looking to complete a first-class MBA education without enrolling in a full-time, on-campus program. The program takes the best of the Marshall University\u2019s on-campus curriculum and adapts it in an online format. All courses are taught by the same high-caliber faculty members that also teach on-campus. Consult Marshall University’s Online Learning<\/a> resources for policies and procedures.<\/p>\n

If you are trying to fast-track your career, the full-time program can be completed in one calendar year.\u00a0There is also a part-time option available if you want to take just one or two classes a semester.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Overview<\/h2>\n

The MBA degree program from Marshall University will help prepare you for career achievement and advancement. With an emphasis placed on applying theory into real-world practice, our graduates will be able to meet current needs and changing demands of the global market place. The program will help polish your management, critical thinking, communication, and problem solving skills. The faculty of our MBA program is composed of professors with educational backgrounds and experience in the functional fields of business administration, accounting, finance, management, marketing, economics, law, MIS, communications, and organizational behavior. The rigorous nature of the MBA program requires thorough understanding of the basics of business fundamentals. If your undergraduate degree is not in business, there may be some additional foundations courses required. Please have a look at the program’s brochure<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Full Admission<\/h3>\n

Applicants should follow the admissions process described in this catalog or at the Graduate Admissions website: www.marshall.edu\/graduate<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Applicants must submit a copy of their resume, and must either have:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. An undergraduate degree in business from a regionally accredited institution with an undergraduate Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale for all previously completed undergraduate coursework.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    OR<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. An undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale for all previously completed undergraduate university work, and, in addition to the resume, 2 letters of recommendation. Applicant may also submit additional documents such as statement of purpose, test scores, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      OR<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Have successfully completed the undergraduate prerequisite business courses with a 3.0 or higher.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        OR<\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Have a doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Conditional Admission<\/h3>\n

          Conditional Admission can be granted for one term if the applicant meets all program requirements for admission except they have not officially graduated with their bachelor\u2019s degree. Once the degree is granted the applicant would need to resubmit their official transcripts for full admission.<\/p>\n

          Note:<\/strong> Applicants may be asked to submit additional material if needed before an admission decision is made. Generally, more students apply to the M.B.A. program than are accepted each year; therefore, the selection process is competitive.<\/p>\n
