You can view academic information, including any holds on your account.<\/p>\n<div id=\"wrapper\" class=\"clearfix\">\n<div id=\"wrap\" class=\"container\">\n<div id=\"content\" class=\"container2 clearfix\">\n<div id=\"entry\" class=\"grid_8\">\n<p>Click the &#8220;View Holds&#8221; link, and the following information is listed:<\/p>\n<p>Hold Type<br \/>\nFrom Date<br \/>\nTo Date<br \/>\nAmount (if the hold is payment-related)<br \/>\nReason<br \/>\nOriginator<br \/>\nProcesses Affected.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the information, such as the reason for the hold, may not display. Speak to your adviser regarding the best course of action if the delay is regarding academics.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Examples of holds include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advising hold &#8211; placed by your adviser if you did not meet with them before registration<\/li>\n<li>Admission obligation &#8211; if you need to provide the admissions office with more information<\/li>\n<li>Financial obligation &#8211; if you have unpaid parking tickets, library fines, overdue fees, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When attempting to register for classes, you may see a message that states, &#8220;You may not add or drop classes due to holds on your record.&#8221;To find out what type of hold is on your record, click the &#8220;Student and Financial Aid&#8221; link in MILO\u00a0 and choose the &#8220;Student Records&#8221; option.
