Only 1 duplicate class counts toward graduation.<\/li>\n<li>Hours enrolled for final semester<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The simple calculation is:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>120 hours needed to graduate (or more if your program requires it)<br \/>\nless developmental classes<br \/>\n<span style=\"\">less duplicated classes where only 1 counts<\/span><br \/>\n= hours applied toward graduation<br \/>\n<span style=\"\">+ enrolled hours<\/span><\/p>\n<p>= 120 (or minimum for your major)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Example:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Student A has 6 credits of developmental classes and 3 credits that do not count toward graduation since she took one class twice to improve her grade. \u00a0Her major requires 120 credits to graduate.<\/p>\n<p>Her calculation is \u00a0120 &#8211; 6 developmental credits = 114- 3 duplicated credits = 111 hours toward graduation<br \/>\nStudent A is taking 8 hours in her final semester. \u00a0She has 111 + 8\u00a0or only 119 hours at end of her &#8216;final&#8217; term so she will not graduate but must delay graduation until she has completed 1 additional credit (if her major requires 120).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALWAYS CHECK WITH YOUR ADVISOR.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ultimately it is your responsibility to meet the University&#8217;s graduation requirements and those of your program.\u00a0To calculate your hours toward graduation you&#8217;ll need the following information.
