Her research employs qualitative and rhetorical methods to investigate textual and visual microaggressions in online communication, with a particular focus on the intersection of race, class, and gender in society. She is particularly interested in how historical presentations of race continue to be revived in online media. Additionally, she has researched student-to-professor bullying with faculty at the University of Wyoming and Weber State.\u00a0 Dr. Snyder-Yuly loves road trips on her scooter, rollerblading, outdoor activities, her cats, painting, and stained glass projects.
