Stephanie attended Lewis Memorial Baptist Church, where she dedicated her baby daughter, EmmaLayne.

Stephanie had a kind soul, loving spirit, and joyful personality. She was unexpectedly called home by the Lord on March 9, 2008 at the tender age of 25. Stephanie’s parents, Ron and Tara Bolling Dyer of Huntington, established the Stephanie Dyer Memorial Scholarship in 2012 in her honor and to support other students on their journey to becoming a speech-language pathologist. Her maternal grandparents, Larry and Carol Lee Bolling, were long-time supporters of the Huntington Scottish Rite Childhood Language Center at Marshall University.

The scholarship is awarded at the Huntington Scottish Rite Picnic in July each year.
