2025-26 Marketing Intern Team<\/h2>\n

\"Ella<\/a>Ella Bumgardner<\/h2>\n

Huntington native Ella Bumgardner, an Advertising and PR major graduating in 2027, hopes to work in public relations for a major brand. Her favorite memory is meeting her best friend Anna on the first day of class. Ella values Marshall\u2019s supportive community and has loved courses taught by Dr. Hapney, Professor Ingersoll, and Dan Hollis. She enjoys reading, Pilates, photography, traveling, and all things coffee. Fun fact: she\u2019s the 12th member of her family to attend Marshall.<\/p>\n

Karli Panaro<\/h2>\n

Red House, WV native Karli Panaro is an Advertising and PR major with a Marketing minor, graduating in December 2027. She aspires to be a social media manager. Karli\u2019s favorite class has been Media Literacy with Dan Hollis, and she values the welcoming Marshall environment. Creative at heart, she enjoys designing, painting, and reading. A first-generation college student, Karli is grateful for her journey and fueled daily by coffee.<\/p>\n

\"Kayleigh<\/a>Kay Steele<\/h2>\n

University Marketing and Communications Intern<\/h4>\n

Kay, born and raised in Huntington, is Majoring in Digital Marketing with a minor in Humanities. Kay dreams of working in Digital Marketing specifically for fashion and cosmetic companies. Kay loves all things fashion, social media, makeup, and spending time with her friends and family! Her favorite memory at Marshall was before her time here, having her father show her campus for the first time when he attended in 2006. This experience solidified her choice in Marshall\u2019s community. Kay favors this community the most, stating that it has a \u2018small town\u2019 feel with a lot of resources and that a place like this is hard to find. As a commuter, Kay\u2019s best advice is to not be afraid to speak to the people around you, saying that most people feel the same way you do!<\/p>\n

Communication Disorders, 2026<\/p>\n

Charleston native, Jayln Armstrong, is Majoring in Communication Disorders with a Minor in Religious Studies. Jayln loves to sing, read, and also loves fashion! As an RA in Commons, Jayln says that the best thing you can do is to get involved, as there are communities here that will support your every step. One of her favorite memories at Marshall was riding to Austin\u2019s at the market on campus E-Bikes.<\/p>\n

She has shared that she loves everything about Marshall, especially during the Fall and Spring because of everyone out by the Memorial Student Center. One of her favorite memories at Marshall was riding to Austin\u2019s at the market on campus E-Bikes.<\/p>\n

\"Natalie<\/a>Natalie Freas<\/h2>\n

Advertising and Public Relations, 2027<\/p>\n

Natalie Freas, from Hurricane, WV, is studying Advertising and PR with a minor in Marketing, planning to graduate in 2027. She loves that her professors genuinely care and found Media Literacy with Dan Hollis especially meaningful. Natalie enjoys tailgating at the Joan, playing Roblox\u2019s Dress to Impress<\/em>, and recently got a puppy named Rookie. She also had the chance to swim with dolphins in the Virgin Islands.<\/p>\n

Biomedical Engineering, 2027<\/p>\n

From Sinks Grove, WV, we have Indigo Graves. Indigo is a sophomore here at Marshall University studying Biomedical Engineering. She is involved with She states that she chose Marshall for our open and welcoming communities inside and outside of her major. She enjoys the creative process of all thing\u2019s photography, fashion, and makeup. Indigo would encourage students to attend events and also become an active member of Marshall\u2019s community!<\/p>\n

\"Mark<\/a>Mark Hysell<\/h2>\n

History, 2027<\/p>\n

Mark Hysell, a History major from Milton, WV, is set to graduate in 2027. Interested in writing and digital media, he enjoys being involved in Student Government and campus clubs. His favorite class so far has been World & West 1300-1850<\/em>, which prepared him for future coursework. Mark enjoys Huntington\u2019s strong sense of community, playing board games, and listening to history podcasts.<\/p>\n

Emma <\/span>Korstanje<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Exercise Science, 2026<\/p>\n

Coming from the College of Science is Huntington native, Emma Korstanje. As an exercise science major, Emma\u2019s favorite class is Exercise Physiology because it\u2019s challenging and interesting to learn about how the body reacts to exercise. She has a strong sense of smell, which is probably why she loves baking. Emma wants to become a realtor and a physical therapist, but for now she is a Feature Twirler who loves performing on the field on game day. \u201cGet as involved as you can! Many students quit their hobbies or clubs when they get to college because they want to focus on their academics, but they miss out on making connections with other students and the school,\u201d is what Emma would tell the incoming Herd.<\/p>\n

\"Kyndall<\/a>Kyndall Perry<\/h2>\n

Nursing, 2028<\/p>\n

Charleston, WV native Kyndall Perry is a Nursing major on track to graduate in May 2028, with plans to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. A highlight of her Marshall experience was being elected parliamentarian of the Student Government Association. She loved Anatomy with Dr. Moore and values the family-like atmosphere on campus. Kyndall enjoys church, working out, and spending time outdoors. She\u2019s also a former competitive swimmer.<\/p>\n

Braley Poff<\/h2>\n

Psychology Major, 2026<\/p>\n

Psychology major, Braley Poff, comes from right over the bridge in Proctorville, Ohio. She came to Marshall in hopes of becoming a Clinical Psychologist. Braley\u2019s advice is to become involved, saying that something as little as going to the student center can go a long way. Braley loves the connections she has been able to make with her peers and instructors. Her favorite Marshall moment has been the first day of school as it felt like the beginning of a new world!<\/p>\n

Emily Price<\/h2>\n

Biology and Health Sciences, 2028<\/p>\n

Emily Price, from Madison, WV, is a Biology and Health Sciences major with pre-med aspirations, set to graduate in 2028. She dreams of becoming a Pediatric Hematology Oncologist. Her favorite memory is performing with the Marching Thunder during her first band camp. A childhood cancer survivor, Emily founded a new student organization and competes nationally as a baton twirler.<\/p>\n

Olivia Southall<\/h2>\n

Secondary Education, 2027<\/p>\n

Olivia Southall is a sophomore elementary education major from Ripley, West Virginia. On campus, she serves as a UNI peer mentor, helps welcome new students, and works as a social media ambassador. She is also active in Baptist Campus Ministries, where she enjoys connecting with friends and community each week. Passionate about teaching, Olivia is preparing for a future career in education.<\/span><\/p>\n

Political Science and English, 2028<\/p>\n

Gretchen Ude, from Bridgeport, WV, is a Political Science and English major set to graduate in May 2028. She hopes to become an attorney. Her favorite Marshall moment was watching We Are Marshall<\/em> during WOW Week, and she loves the small class sizes and supportive community. Gretchen enjoys reading and writing, especially books by Freida McFadden. Fun fact: she\u2019s left-handed and her favorite movie is Twilight<\/em>.<\/p>\n
