His talk was on some recent and forthcoming research on hypergeometric functions and was titled &#8220;Discrete and Matrix Analogues of Hypergeometric Series&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The conference was held in honor of Professor George Anastassiou (University of Memphis) on the occasion of his retirement.
