Representing the Department of Biological Sciences, Kia presented a research poster on the lab\u2019s fascinating work with the nudibranch sea slug Berghia stephanieae\u2014a tiny but mighty creature with some seriously cool behaviors.<\/p>\n<p>The duo also took part in a science outreach fair at the Maryland Science Center, fielding big questions from curious minds, like:<br \/>\nHow do they eat sea anemones if the sea anemones sting?<br \/>\nHow do you study their brains if they\u2019re so tiny?<\/p>\n<p>Their answer? \u201cVery carefully!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was a fun and inspiring weekend of science communication, slug facts, and showcasing Marshall\u2019s marine biology research on a national stage!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Cheyenne Tait and recent Marshall Biology graduate Kia Booth recently made a splash at the Animal Behavior Society\u2019s annual conference in Baltimore!
